Supported Release Candidates

Naturally when a new version of a product is launched, bugs will be discovered. Especially when the number of testers is increased.

We can introduce even more software testers before officially launching a new version by making the last release candidate supported. For XenForo cloud this can be a manual upgrade.

The language can change to:

This is pre-release software.

Please remember that this is pre-release software. It may contain bugs. Support is provided for this version of the software.

TL;DR

XF 2.3 release could have been a supported release candidate to get a larger group of testers in and find a handful more of these smaller bugs first.

Yeah but it doesn't mean you have to download the software.

What i did at the start was play around with the first beta.
Stopped doing so when it was showing us bugs.

What i did for the rest of the time was work out what i was going to do when the whole stable thing was released.

Now that i have it installed it's working better for us.
