XF 1.4 Super moderator

I have granted a user super moderator status but they can not see and of the admin forum sections I have created or have any options to moderate posts anywhere on the forum.

What have I done wrong?

Use the analyze permissions function to determine how their final permission values are being set.

Ah right, just ran that, they have no forum moderator permissions but they are a super moderator.

@Slin - I may have had the same misunderstanding after importing.

Admin CP > Users > Moderators > Add Moderator

Then click on each name in the list and ensure that their Status moderator permissions are allowed in the same way as your super moderator Moderating permissions, according to your needs.

@ibrian, that is a separate issue.
Permissions are assigned via user/user group, not specifically by making someone a moderator.

I don;t get this at all now.

I now can't see a private forum I created even though I am the administrator!

All I want to do is create and Admin category, and add certain users so they can view that forum but moderate all the other forums.

Did you grant access to admins?
