Suggestion to improve subscription/license rules.

The members check the languages in their profile options and the promotions are automatic.

The requisite custom user fields, user groups, and promotions need to be set up in the ACP.

Thanks for the reply, I am trying this now but it seems not to work (I guess I do it wrong) so what I did is this:

I created a new group called: 未登録 / 未確認

Then i created a Category and a Forum, and I only have view permissions to this new group 未登録 / 未確認.

Then I did setup a promotion like this:
Promotion Options
Title: Japanese - Unregistered / Unconfirmed
Add User to User Groups: 未登録 / 未確認

Apply This Promotion While...
Privileges and Status: User is a Guest
User Profile and Options:
User is browsing with the following language: 日本語 (Japanese)

But it seems to never show the Category and Forum when I change to Japanese language as a Guest.

Did I do it wrong somewhere?

It won't work for guests, only registered users.

Guests don't have accounts and therefore account preferences.
