Stop parsing of links in threads / posts

Is there any easy way to stop links being auto parsed in threads / posts?

There is no configurable option. You can use plain tags to prevent parsing though:

[plain][/plain]

Can I add the plain tags for the whole site or something that needs to be done on each post?

Is your intention to completely disable hyperlinking in posts?

Yes, that is my intention. Any quick solution? I already have a mod that will block people from adding a link but I just want to stop them from parsing instead of blocking totally.
