@Xon the sticky post is going above the first post in the thread? is there a way to make it the second post?

Also no matter what I select, it's either on every page or not there at all.

Yes, the sticky post pushes the first post down if it isn't also the sticky post. There isn't support for making it render under the 1st post.

As for showing on all pages;
Select "Always stick sticky post to top of a thread" and unselect "... Except first post on the first page" and "Only sticky post to first page"
