XF 1.5 Start a conversation - the text box has disappeared

Hi guys,

Tonight I've noticed half way through a conversation that neither I nor the other party can respond as the text box has disappeared.

Nothing was changed prior to this occurance.

Please help :/

Well weirdly it's now working again after an hour or so with no changes made by me.
