?spam - user with dnsbl-2.uceprotect.net

I have a new user who has posted a few times and seems genuine, but hasn't been a member long enough to have full function in all sections. I was going to upgrade them manually to take part in a vote - but decided not to after checking the IP address they have a red dot (IP bad) for dnsbl-2.uceprotect.net

Anyone know much about this bad IP rating?

Read the article he linked to. uceprotect.net is not a legitimate IP lookup source - it's a scam. Also, a good sign of how unprofessional they are, they can't even properly redirect their url when it doesn't have www in front of it.

the people that run what is my ip address are the ones that can tell you why they use them.
from what i read they are not legitimate and should not be used.

the important thing to know is they appear to be scammy and can be ignored.

Ok. I don't like to see any red dots on an IP address for members though - and they sometimes do turn out to be spammers.
