I like this addon and would like to use it, but as weird as this may sound - do you think there could be usergroup support added? I have users who have tendencies to use the Moderator/Administrator notes on threads to impersonate a Staff Member, and I'd rather it be able to just set it so a designated usergroup could use it.

I would like that too but;

The built-in XenForo BB Code manager doesn't allow for permission control sadly. You could try @cclaerhout 's BB Code manager add-on, which includes an easy way to limit BB Code to only certain usergroups, but this BB Code might have to be redone to work with it.

Five Stars (Very useful add on for specially admins and moderators. It would be even better if Xenforo BB Code manager allows for permission control so it can be permission based for user groups.)

Oversight on my part there! I'll post an update tonight with white icons.

As for the user group permissions, yes, there is the issue of core XenForo support within the BB Code Manager. As I said you can use another BB Code system that supports user group permissions.

Have you put text between the tags? Empty tags probably won't work.

You'll have to edit the images manually to get them to match your styles exactly.

White icons

Just an update to include white editor icons. If you updated to 2.1.0 previously, you need not re-import the new XML, simply upload the new files.

I uploaded the files.. and it says you dont need to install the xml.. but my iocns are still black.. so should i install the xml again?

There are additional white icons included in the upload but the default is the black (since those are the XenForo default). You can switch to the white icons by going to Home > Custom BB Codes > [error] (or whichever bbcode you're editing) and change the Editor Icon URL from:

styles/sos/error-icon.png

to

styles/sos/error-icon-white.png

I have everything running, but unfortunately the buttons are blank. The little PNG files do not appear on the buttons. Tried uninstalling the plugin and installed it again.
Not sure what I am doing wrong. Uploaded the files in the right directories and installed the XML as a plugin. Have not touched any CSS file.
Your help is highly appreciated

The BBCodes work perfect. The only thing missing is the PNG in the buttons. Right now I see the 4 buttons in the edit screen but no PNG in them. They are white.
