Both your concerns are available.
- Each album/photo has its own privacy. Album owners could set the privacy for Who can add more photos to that album.
- Original Photos download permission also in album's privacy. Owners can set who can download original photos in that album.

You probably know what I am going to mention here:LOL:: would you consider adding some dynamics to the Gallery homepage? Currently, this add-on shows all the albums in Pinterest style on homepage, but the homepage won't change much - even if users kept adding in a lot of new photos to each existing album - unless new ALBUMS are added. And, besides giving comments, doing likes, not much user interactions can happen. Also, it doesn't provide users a systematic way to keep track of users' favorite photos and albums. Allowing users to bookmark photos and follow albums would provide solutions to it. These are all what Pinterest and some other sites do - not secret any more...

I am happy to see all the basic functionality such as tagging, searching etc. are all in now. I look forward to seeing this add-on be able to go from static to dynamic by adding in features like bookmark photos(and auto. promote bookmarked photos to gallery homepage) and follow albums!

- Choose what to be shown on Gallery homepage was on the to-do. You might want to show specific category, collection...
- What does exactly Follow do? You do not need it in XenGallery. Once you liked/commented in an album, you already followed. Any new comments, new likes, new photos... would be alerted to you.
 
Well, xenforo's alert system is very good. But if you follow an album, it should also allow you to see the entire followed albums conveniently via your profile page, in addition to your own albums etc.

That is already in core, just need to show up.
 
Dang i guess i was confused i was hoping this would import individual threads not entire forums. Right now the Thread importer is doing what its supposed to and importing every single thread in the chosen forum thats gonna be over 2000 albums. I was hoping i could choose the particular threads i wanted to import..

on the start-site and on the album sites, all pictures have different sizes. i think that looks not so good.

next question, is theire an chance, that we can use the lightbox? i hate it, to scroll always in the picture view. the lightbox will resize the pictures.........if we have a bigger size.

if i can change this, i will buy this gallery :)

1. Currently not. They have same width and different height depend on their original resolution. This would be used in case you want to show up some long picture (eg: Infographic)
2. It was already planned. I want to finish some importers first.
 
Is it possible to disable pages like streams and cameras, as that's something I'd probably not utilize?

Also, is there an option to disable the gallery profile page? Ideally, I'd prefer to just have the main profile page with the "photos" tab.

Currently we have no option to achieve these requirements.
