I hope he doesn't give a timeline. Because if anything happens, and it is missed at all, people will rage. Same with xF here. Its best to jusst be patient. If he said it was coming, he'll make good on his word.

@RoldanLT, I'm wondering about vbulletin 4 specifically and hoping for an estimated timeline - thanks though. (otherwise I need another solution that can currently do the import - can't wait for something that's not coming )

Saweet. Thank you. Unfortunately I'm running 4.0. Maybe I can downgrade a dummy installation to 3.8, and import the albums from there.

Edit: looks like there might be a vb 4.0 importer.

A few little things.

1. Can Search support be added?
2. Is there a way to rebuild the album and photo counts after a import? After import all my users are showing 0 for both number, to they upload a new image and then it recounts to the right number of that user.
3. The image rotate seems to work backwards, eg rotate right, the preview shows it turning right, but after saving the image as turned left.

You might want to increase "max_allowed_packet" setting in your mysql setting (my.conf). During the installation, it would import camera data so this value need a little higher.

If I decide to wait for the importer can I go ahead and convert my vb 4 board to Xenforo 1.2 and import albums (and associate them with the appropriate users) at a later date? Either through a new import that only imports albums from the old database, or through converting the threads xenforo creates during the import for vb 4 user albums? Basically, I'm wondering if I don't want to wait for an importer to be come available, can I move my board to XF and move the vb 4 useralbums to your plugin once an importer is available? Thanks so much.

I have planned to make it work with [bd] Attachment Store
