"Also allow guest posting into news feed…"

about the privacy of the open groups. Then this function I told you there isn't but would be reallly useful to add it.

Sorry for the attachment but it seems that from mobile the attachments aren't working now on XF, or it is my old mobile, we should advice the XF staff for checking, I will do also this.

What the problem here? It still unclear for me

I was meaning that where there are the options to set the privacy of the group that I have sent you in my last post, could be useful to add an option to let decide also if the stream of the group can be shown in the Wat's New section.
Example: "Show the activity of this group in the Wat's New section"

In reality I have asked this because is a good and useful feature the plugin can have, that seeing that groups use the own forum nodes, was useful to use the contents generated from some group, also in the relative node of the forum with that specific argument. That in reality was also the reason why I have bought this plugin, thinking that using the same structure of the forum it was possible to make this.


I have seen the addon you propose me (also if I think that is a nice feature that can be added to the addon ) and so I wanted know if, the tab to select the additional forum where a thread must be posted

I let you know also that when the system send an email to the users the emails have this title:

A new message has been sent in group {group}

but the name of the group there isn't because it shows the variable only and not the name of the group.

Do you upgrade to latest version? It's fixed in the latest one.

Hi Truonglv yes maybe you have reason because it seems that in the past days it was working good now that I have checked, but are 2 or 3 days that are arriving me the emails again with the title as described you here, so is possible that is relative to some modification we have done. I have to check better.

And are there some news also for the other things I told you?

Also the mobile version is shown in this way that seems broken





in this way with that bar upon the name of the group and the image of it, where become not visible both things, is not a good solution, maybe the bar (leave group...) with so few space should go or down the banner (but up the menu and not down the menu becouse there seems ugly) or those 3 options (in the bar) can go inside the principal menu bar, to save that space. Also up the image banner, or some other good solution, but in this way is unwachabe.

Great, really nice the solution you have found inside the group, I like it more.

The only problem that on mobile the page in the list of the groups are disappeared all the banners.

Also I let you know I have noted that when a member receive a mail from the plugin, the title of the email is shown in this way:

New post was created in the group {title}

without the name of the group.

Then is possible to show the normal postbit menu in the answering posts in the main page of the groups here?

because users use smiles and also often load images and in this way is not possible to add these things. The only way is to write, send and then you have to click on modify post, to see the postbit menu to add what is there to add, (smiles, images, ecc)

Please Truonglv don't forhet also this that is important.



Also the possibility to add an option in the "group privacy" section, named: "Show the activity of this group also in What's new section" (for the open groups) will be great. This becouse them generate activities and as you know is always good to show the forum as more active so also these posts are good to show and useful to let join more other users to the groups, that seeing the posts in the stream have to join a group to see it the complete post.

Found a bug?
When a user "joins any groups", the trophy/badge still isn't given out to me. (I'm the group owner). Also the other regular member didn't it either. I also tried another trophy/badge with "manage any groups", but there as well I am not getting anything as group owner. Yes I've ran the cron, and other badges updated successfully.

Also inside the groups, the top banner, is shown with half of the square (where the banner must go) white/empty.

This might be an obvious question, but because a client has asked to investigate social group addons I need to be sure. Are normal, registered users able to create social groups with this? Or are groups only creatable by administrators/staff roles?
