So.... what is the word on the new signature restrictions/rules?

All signatures are being deleted - the table will be truncated in T minus 41 hours and 30 minutes.

Brogan,

I am thinking about every sale and discount ever and am thinking that this is not enough to alert people. How will I know what GMT means in my time zone. What if I miss the timeline? Can I have a discount? Also, reading your post, it seems to me like I should always have another 41 and a half hours to save my sig. I also don't know how many days this would be (especially in my time zone). Also, can I have a discount?

;)

I'm offering a 65% discount on dental checkups. Check out my site for details and how to gain this too good to be true offer out. :P

All signatures will be removed this Friday at 5 PM GMT and tighter signature restrictions will be implemented. If you wish to keep the current data from your signature, please back it up before then.

I know the weather hasn't been great recently, but I do believe we are in British Summer Time. ;)

Very early afternoon for you -- a couple stiff drinks with your lunch should gird you for its demise

No advertising anything other than a XF powered forum would realistically be acceptable as well IMO.
I don't think that's a good idea. Licensed customers with web hosting businesses and service-related websites will want to link to their sites to get more sales.
Links are nofollow this shouldn't be a problem.
Signatures aren't even displayed to guests.

You can click "Watch Thread" top right to do that, it isn't necessary to post in the thread.

i dont bother with rules. instead they have their sig limited to is own little div at 40% opacity. make it as big and garish as you want, but we wont have to look at it.
that combined with the freddies sig once hack are perfect. i wont even use this feature, even though i cried for it.

Does it really matter? Any confusion just means theres a 1-2 hour window of when its disappearing. Just come back Saturday and put your signature back and all will be well.

But then I will be without a signature for some time, which doesn't look right.

Yes, it matters. For reasons only I would understand.

Than for that hour or two (starting at 5PM GMT) excessively refresh so you can be ready the moment they decide to start enforcing them?
