Smilie bug with extra line break

I encountered this on my site as well as here on XF.

When you go to reply to a post with a smilie DO NOT click into the editor but just click the smilie icon in the menu and post one, and you will see there is an extra line break above it. It does not get posted however.

Chrome desktop and mobile.

I can indeed confirm.
But I think that nothing more will be done about the bugs in the editor (unless they seriously impact its operation), XF 3 will bring with it a new text editor (Tip Tap if I understood correctly ) and we just have to be patient I think.
