    Very minor, but always worth reporting :)

    Both of those options have the explain text, which is incorrect for both.

    Why is it incorrect?

    Presumably because "messages" isn't a thing?

    If only replies are moderated (but new threads are allowed) then people can post messages in the form of new threads, hence making the explanation incorrect.

    Yeah technically it should be "new threads" and "replies" to be less confusing

    Messages = threads and replies.

    So if you click the moderate replies checkbox it will moderate both threads and replies? This is silly, just change the text to match the sentence above it.

    Yes, hence why it's wrong as ticking one of the boxes doesn't put threads AND replies into moderation mode, each box only does one of them.

    Threads = Messages
    Posts = Messages
    Replies = Messages

    Yes, it's correct.

    This is silly. If the option text is going to be specific, so should the description text. Not sure why you are fighting this.

    I think the points for and against the change have been made, so we will check this out.

    You're missing the point completely. All of the tick boxes only act on a subset of "message types" whilst not affecting the rest of them and the text implies that all "message types" are affected. It's wrong.
