Brief: I believe it would be highly beneficial to offer an option for a smaller icon specifically for mobile navigation. Although the code refers to "small-logo," it still refs to the same version used for the desktop logo. If you have a wider logo, it would be preferable to display a square-sized image — similar or identical to the one uploaded in the "Icon URL" field — instead of scaling down the desktop logo. (p-header-logo and p-nav-smallLogo share the same URL)
Detailed:
While XenForo currently allows for two logo versions with different resolutions, I’ve encountered an issue where certain logos, especially those containing text, take up more space than ideal for navigation or mobile views, often making the text unreadable. In many cases, an icon (without text) is a better fit for these smaller areas.
In my example, I’ve used the "Icon URL" field in XenForo to manually display a logo version that fits better within the navigation. However, this is a workaround, as the current setup lacks a dedicated field for a "Small Logo" that could be used specifically for mobile or navigation purposes.
It would be beneficial if XenForo introduced a dedicated field for a "Small Logo", specifically for use in areas where space is limited (e.g., mobile or navigation). This would prevent text-heavy logos from appearing oversized in compact layouts and provide more flexibility without needing workarounds.
