Ok this what i am planning,
I plan to install my forum in the folder
www.mysite.com/forum
When the forum increases its members, will try to make a commercial portal with news, videos, blog, articles, anyting else
so the site will be
www.mysite.com/
www.mysite.com/news/
www.mysite.com/videos/
www.mysite.com/blog/
my question, since xenforo involves some sort of url rewriting , will this affect if i install or recreate other applications such as news, videos, blog and that has it own url rewriting scheme.
I can use other applications in other sub folders under the root without a problem right. And also the root site will have a summary of all the sections.
Will this work.
