A site builder or page builder is a visual design tool that allows admins to easily build or change any page without writing or editing code. No need to go into templates or file and change code. Just A page builder allows you to:
A page builder would allow us to create new pages as well as change existing pages. For example, we could add a portal page or any new page. And design it to our liking.
Or change how existing pages look. Like the forum index, forum category pages, threads, resources, profiles, help, media, addon pages, etc.
Or change how the footer or header looks.
We would be able to add and remove elements from existing pages or completely change how the page is setup.
This is not a suggestion for a portal or home page builder. While this suggestion includes drag n drop widgets, it proposes much more. Its a suggestion for a visual website/page builder, similar to Elementor or Bricks.

I believe that a visual site builder would enhance XenForo greatly and lift it to a next level. Its a big ask, but very much worth the effort.
- Create new pages or edit an existing page.
- Change the layout of the page. Add/edit sections and columns to a page.
- Insert elements and widgets into the blocks.
- Edit the content of those widgets.
- Change the design, style, behavior of the page, sections, columns, widgets.
