Simple Forms [Paid] [Deleted]

The only thing I can think... can you include a date facility with a library call to a pop up date calender for the form?
Maybe the ability to batch-add a load of options, for say countries (entering in individual countries takes aaaaaaaaaages) :)

I will see what we can do for future release. 2.0 is currently feature locked as we iron out bugs. We will look into this for 2.1.

I just tried to sign up to your support forum to ask a pre-sales question, but I got a server error when registering, so I'll ask my question here.
Is it possible to have a form start a new thread in a forum specified by a query string?
For example, if we call your form via, say, index.php?do=simpleform&n=44 , it will accept the data into the form and then start the new thread in forum (node) 44?

Yes - it does that.

You set the destination so you can either
Create a conversation
Create a thread in designated forum
Create a post in a designated thread
Email details

Or any combination of them

On my one, it creates a thread in a restricted area (for product registration) as well as sends an email to the support ticket system we use.

Hi Stuart,

There is no query string you can set for a form. All of the forms functionality is defined in the admin cp via the form fields and destinations you've setup. You can set a form to do a number of things upon user submission.

FYI, Ive been seeing this in my error log once a day my upgrade to 1.2:

ErrorException: Undefined variable: originalCheckDate - library/LiquidPro/SimpleForms/Option/LicenseKey.php:188

Are you referring to XenForo 1.2? We haven't released a version of Simple Forms 2 that is compatible with it.

Can a form create a new node?
We're looking to have a "user forums" section where users can create their own forum, something like facebook pages or groups.
I'd like to create a form where the user can create a forum that they're then the moderator of. Can this do it?

I'm sorry, but that's not a current feature we have. You could have someone custom develop that for you, but I don't expect that would be something we would add in the future.

Would this add-on be ready when 1.2 will be released?
That's basically the last thing I need to migrate properly to XF.

Thanks.

We plan to have a 1.2 compatible version, however we have no idea when 1.2 will be released...so it's a little hard to say.

Do you do custom work? Or, who might I approach with this?
Sorry we do not do custom work and there are plenty of developers here on the XenForo. You can definitely find someone willing to help you out via the request forums.

Hello all,

We have the "Simple Forms" addon installed. When a user fills out the form and submits it, a thread is created with the information they provided. When they insert hyperlinks into one of the paragraph fields of the form and submit, the thread that is created only provides us with part of the hyperlinks.

Example:

As you can see, the links are supposed to be different, but get cutoff early with "..."

Is there an option to change the length at which point hyperlinks are cutoff?

Thanks!

Does this still require the core addon to be installed first?

Is this what those csv files we export the forms are for? Microsoft Excel right? Can Liquid Pro Forms also be imported to Google Docs? http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-help/import-or-export-text-txt-or-csv-files-HP010099725.aspx

So this isn't working in Xenforo 1.2 yet right. When they are, will they be responsive?

I wanna buy this and play around with it but I would have to do so on a local Xenforo 1.1.5 installation.

If we buy Simple Forms but want to upgrade to Developer version in the future, do we have to buy the Developer version seperately or is there a upgrade price instead of having to pay the full price since we would already have regular Simple Forms.

Do you have a site that has forms we can fill out as a demonstration?

Are the forms we fill out associated with our account? Like can you see them listed in AdminCP?

Can a mod or admin fill out forms for a user?

This, I believe, is core functionality for XenForo. It's not something we control or can change.

I do not believe it's required anymore, but the core addon is harmless it would only tell you if an update is required.
