Simple Donation Add-On

Hi community,

I am looking for a very simple donation solution. I am already using userupgrades for my main product, but I want to offer my community to support me with a little donation if they want. So what I need is: A donation possibility on a seperated site (from userupgrades) that works with my set payment profiles. After a donation, the user should get upgraded in the donator usergroup for 1 year.

Any suggestions? Is it possible to solve it with userupgrades possibly?

You can do that with the built in user upgrades function.

It isn't possible to allow for varying donations, but you could just create some default values covering a range.

Can I offer this specific upgrade on another site then the userupgrades site?

For automatic promotion to a specific user group, it would have to be done as a user upgrade.

You can though accept donations and manually promote members.

Okay so its not possible to make another site specificly for donations (like a donations page with info about purpose etc.) and add a button to start the payment process via the userupgrades, correct?
