In my opinion, the "Inbox" (messages/conversations) dropdown, there should be two sections shown - "Old/Read" and "New". This way, you can see all your messages without the extra click. I know one click isn't a big deal, and most people would say it's wanted out of laziness, but I would just prefer it that way since it would make sense since the dropdown is titled "Inbox", not "New Messages"
