When you have threads which have Unicode in titles, you get the shareable links of those threads like this:

The link looks fine in the address bar, but it gets uglier like this when it comes to sharing links.
I'd like to suggest a feature that can auto-generate "short URLs" or something like that when you click on the share button.
I'm pretty sure that option will come in handy for the website owners who have users who use Unicode in their big communities

Just enable this http://prntscr.com/ssx60g and non-Latin characters will be converted in latin.
Sorry, I edited the post and used the inline code instead.
The SEO friendly URL is good. The issue is this part %D0%9A%D0%BE%D0%BB%D0%B8%D1%87%D0%B5%D1%81%D1%82%D0%B2%D0%BE-%D1%81%D0%BB%D1%83%D1%87%D0%B0%D0%B5%D0%B2-%D0%BA%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%B0%D0%B2%D0%B8%D1%80%D1%83%D1%81%D0%B0-%D0%B2-%D0%A0%D0%BE%D1%81%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%B8-%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B2%D1%8B%D1%81%D0%B8%D0%BB%D0%BE-432-%D1%82%D1%8B%D1%81%D1%8F%D1%87%D0%B8

I have shared a thread link which has Unicode characters in it like this with a friend (WhatsApp), and he thought it's a malicious link and afraid to click on it

yeah. it would have been great if xenforo was using the actual permalink (that does not change if you rename the thread title) for posts and even threads. basically the links generated by xenforo if you have disabled keywords in links.

https://xenforo.com/community/posts/1431166 for this post for instance.

but yes. unicode in url has issues and Romanizing titles is the only good option.
