The Share this page buttons aren't showing on iOS/iPadOS.
There's just the header and below it the Copy link button. No social media buttons.

Anything I overlooked maybe?

Solution
Yes, they're missing in all styles. And not just on my new site, but here too. There's just a heading, is all.

I don't know why the icon isn't showing for you in this screenshot. I can't reproduce this on the latest iPadOS.

Well yes, but that's only the Copy link button. I have that one too but on an iPad it only does that.

On a desktop clicking that particular Share button opens up this window:

View attachment 317064

But tapping the button on an iPad you get something very different:

By the way, iOS/iPadOS is up to date on my iPhone and iPad: 18.2
The behaviour is different on devices that support the "Web Share API", which is mostly Android, iOS and iPadOS. The Web Share API we feel is superior...

The behaviour is different on devices that support the "Web Share API", which is mostly Android, iOS and iPadOS. The Web Share API we feel is superior because it shows you only the share options that are relevant to the apps installed on your device.

For example, I don't have Pinterest installed, or an account for it, so clicking that on my laptop serves no useful purpose at all, unless I intend to create a Pinterest account. On my iPhone it doesn't appear at all because I don't have the Pinterest app installed. Conversely, many more apps on my phone are available as a share target by virtue of the Web Share API and the standardised methods of sharing data between many apps - many more than we would show you on desktop, even if you might have certain apps installed that would be viable share targets.

So aside from the missing icon, the behaviour you're seeing is expected and correct.

It gets weirder. Up until now the share icon wasn't showing anywhere, not on iPad not on iPhone, not in Safari, not in Firefox. But now the situation is as follows (and I didn't change anything!):

iPad Firefox: shows the share icon on both my site and this one
iPad Safari: shows the share icon on my site, but not here
iPhone Firefox: shows the share icon on both sites
iPhone Safari: no share icons on either site

Maybe it's some weird Apple security setting that is messing with this. I think I'll go look in the Mac community.

Ah, that makes sense. I'm not on social media anymore so then I wouldn't be seeing the icons on my mobile devices. But I do use WhatsApp a lot and sure enough when tapping the share icon on my iPhone, WA is listed. At least that mystery is solved.

Thanks very much, Chris.
