We're already there
Police here and else where in the country setup random check points where you're subject to identify yourself and show your documentation.
They do it in my 9 sq mile town under the guise of DUI checks...goes like this..
-Evening officer
Have you been drinking..
- I have not done any drinking for the past....10 or 15 years.
Alright then, where are you coming from
- My home (any answer other than a 20 and you are getting out of the car and charged with interference or disorderly or whatever)
Where are you headed to
- My friends house (any answer other than a 20 and you are getting out of the car and charged with interference or disorderly or whatever)
Where is that
- around the way near ESPN (hopefully they have already bagged a few people and this satisfies )
What are you guys going to be doing tonight
- hanging out (this is never enough info)
Any partying?
- yeah we party up with friends online and play COD but like I said before I don't party officer.
Ok I just need to check out your license and reg really quick sit tight.
-sure thing ( because I am going to take off with 20 cars blocking both lanes in front of me and with 200-400 cars behind me.

)
Ok your info checks out be safe and stay off the road if you can.
- Thanks officer? have a splendid evening
For those that don't believe me....this is what happens when you put checkpoints that blindside people on a main road that leaves town and is a direct route to the local hospital and cause a stretch of road that should take 30 seconds to cross and make it take 15 minutes to 40 minutes pending how many arrests are being made at that moment and more to the point this is how you spin a good cover story.

Anyways this case it was birth and not a severely sick or wounded individual driving themselves to the hospital. By stopping every car without cause you are basically giving yourself blanket arrest powers. Just stop em all and sort em out later, YAY CLOSED MARKET ECONOMY!
I think I misunderstand the term...."Protect and Serve"
