XF 2.2 Set bounce and unsubiscription enror

I'm going crazy trying to get the email bonce to work which is essential to having a clean email list.

I set up sending smtp emails and bounce emails in pop3 but I always get errors!

Is there anyone kind-hearted who could lend me a hand?

Port 465 is typically for SMTP (outgoing mail). For the bounce and unsubscribe handlers, you need a POP3/IMAP inbox (incoming mail).

for bounce and unsubscribe I set pop3 and I also tried imap with port 465 and ssl

The ports for IMAP and POP3 are typically 993 and 995, respectively. You would get the ports and credentials from whatever provider is hosting the inbox.

Which Encryption should I choose? I tried putting None and port 995 with POP3, now I'll wait a bit and see if I have any errors...

I don't understand whether pop3 or ipap is better for bounces. These 2 systems are used to download emails from the server. If I set pop3 I can't find the emails on my web client? Where does xenforo download them?

It all depends on what your mail provider supports. You should consult them for their recommended configuration. I personally prefer IMAP as it provides better synchronization between multiple email clients.
