XF 1.4 Restrict users from replying to threads

In my old vbulletin, I had a couple of forums that used these options:

• Can Reply to Own Threads
• Can Reply to Others' Threads

Is there any way in xenforo to restrict either of these?

In the usergroup permissions: post replies

But there is no distinction between posting replies to your own thread or other peoples', possibly because there is little point in that distinction.

Remember that you can specify permissions to individual users for nodes

Actually it can be quite useful. For instance, you may have an official support forum where you only want the thread starter and admins to be able to reply to someone. Or in my case, I have a couple of forums where only the thread starter can reply, making the thread more like a journal or diary.
