XF 2.1 Restrict users from upgrade?

How to restrict a user to buy upgrade? If its possible or if there is any addon for that. Thanks.

That seems to work with usergroup. I need for few members only.

The whole purpose of groups is to give different permissions to different "groups" of people. Which is your case. You create a group called "Upgrade Restriction" but for the public title keep it the same as members. You set it so they can't upgrade (using the add-on). You drop those 5 members in that secondary group, and any future ones. You call it a day.
