Lack of interest Reply to profile fields

If members would be able to reply to a profile field, then this would be used a lot.
For example. Member X starts a new job and sets their occupation to 'XenForo Addon Developer'
Member Y and member Z reply to this to congratulate Member X and discuss the event.

It would enhance the social aspect of XenForo. It would also enhance the XF profile page. Which IMHO could use some livening up.

Similarly I think the same would be useful for other custom fields.

Replying to a field seems like an odd concept. Wouldn't it make more sense to have something like LinkedIn does where a change to certain profile fields sends an alert to followers with a link to let them send a Conversation. Or maybe this is what you are thinking of?

The point of it is to have discussion of the profile field content on the profile so multiple people can join in.

This may be a better approach to allow discussion of profile field changes:

When you change your job or social status on Facebook, then this causes a post on your timeline, which others can react and respond to. I think it would be nice to have similar functionality on xenforo profiles. The admin would need to set which fields, cause status updates if changed. If the...
