Remove download button when editing resource

I want to remove a download button from a resource, but cannot find how to do that under "edit resource"

Am I missing something very obvious?

Can anyone help please?

It isn't possible to change a resource type.

For example if you want to go from a download to a paid resource or to a fileless resource, it's not possible. You would need to create a new resource.

This resource had the option to be fileless, and the resource itself had no files, but the author mistakenly used the External download URL to give his website address.

So that is what I want to remove, the resource itself did not have a file.

Is this still not possible?

Still not possible. You cannot change resource types after the resource has been created.
