Yes, that would be great.
Ask him what other extentions he has installed in the browser. Maybe he has more than one adblocker. One of my users told me that he deactivated his Adblock and also uninstalled his Adblock but the overlay messsage from the Adblock Detector still showed. He is running Google Chrome Version 46.0.2490.80 m (64-bit) and Windows 8.1.
What could be the reason for that?
Can you see ads on the site?Since last Update I have the same problem. I have NoScript and AdBlockPlus installed but both for the xenforo site deaktivated as bevor also. But since last Add-on Update I become this Message now.
FireFox 42, Win7 64, xF 1.5.2 and latest Add-on Update
He said that he had no other AdBlock extension installed. I am not sure if I can believe that.Ask him what other extentions he has installed in the browser. Maybe he has more than one adblocker.

Ask him about Ghostery or for a list off all his browser plugins. Many ad-blockers are not named "ad-block".![]()
Send me please your site's URL, I'll take a look. You may start a conversation if prefer not to post it here.Yes, three self hosted simple picture banners.
Well, to verify that, ask him if he can see ads on the site.I have already listed all the major adblock extensions (also ghostery) to him and he said that they are not installed. Could it be possible that it has something to do with cookies or browser cache?
I will take a look later today and will let you know. Is someone else, besides you, experiences the same problem in your site?
It is known fact that adblocker is the most popular browser extention. Therefore, most of your users probably aren't exposed to ads at all. In other words, you're losing money. So what exactly is it that you want to do if you detect someone using an adblocker? If you put them into a special user group, then what is it that you would do with this group? And just how can any software know if it's ads are being blocked?

EDIT: Just saw that thing at the top about increasing ad revenue. Maybe what we need is an ad block detector blocker.
Blocking an adblocker is impossible. If it was possible adblockers wouldn't exists.
I'm not sure what do you mean, can you elaborate? What you can do is to place another ad instead of the first ad. This is something PageFair does for example.

If you disable these extensions (instead of whitelisting), do you still get the alert?Since last Update I have the same problem. I have NoScript and AdBlockPlus installed but both for the xenforo site deaktivated as bevor also. But since last Add-on Update I become this Message now.

Adblockers can block ads even if dynamically loaded into the page.If an blocked ad has been detected, it is possible to place (back load) another ad into the space where the first ad has been blocked.
That's true that "fair" ads have higher chance not be blocked (because of the agreement with few adblockers), but this only applies to some adblockers, and only if the user agrees to this. User can choose to block fair ads as well.https://pagefair.com/ is a company where you can register for free and get a code to add to your site. This code gives you statistics about how many visitors of your site uses ad blockers. It also allows you to optionally show "fair" ads to them within the original (blocked) ad space.
