As designed "Rejected" members in Users list

Not really sure if this is a bug, however I've noticed that if I reject a potential new member because it's a spam account (within the Approval queue), I will go into my ACP and their account is listed under Users. Then I need to delete them with the trash can.

That has been answered here:

The problem with deleting a spammer is they're then free to sign up again with a different email address, and you'll lose their IP address history so they'd be able to re-register with the same IP address without being flagged.

We actually have gone with an approach where users awaiting approval are no longer deleted either, for similar reasons. Instead they are marked as rejected, and it prevents them doing repeat sign ups.

Indeed. As of XF2 rejected members are marked as rejected, rather than being deleted.

My honest opinion... Don't delete them. They have no access to the site and a bit of history is stored that can prevent them signing up again (won't be able to use the same email, username or IP address).
