Why not use addon option? It already allow post introduce into existing thread.

I figured it out. I have never used thread ID before. I wondered if I had to enter the thread URL in the ACP to link it but that seemed odd. I tested it and discovered it was suppose to be the ID# and I found it. Thanks

Ok so I realised that when a new user registers but my forum u need admin approval after admin approval the welcome greet doesnt appear
it only works when u untick admin approval. not sure but will it be fixed for xenforo v.1.5.5

Did you checked the option Bypass confirmation after registered option?

Bypass allow them to create the thread but i dont want the thread to be created untill approved by an admin

That is problem So as designed. Not an bug

It would be nice to have a minimum char count as an admin settable option.

@truonglv If i make Tests with some Testusers your Addon doesn't create a reply in the Introduction Tread. I would be glad if i could use this Addon because we have many Users where not unterstand why it's important for our Forum to make an Introduction.
