XF 1.3 Registered Feeds: Defeat Certain Post Categories?

We have a WordPress Multisite network. The main site hosts original content, plus snippets from child sites.

We use XenForo's "registered feeds" to create discussion threads based on the WordPress posts. However, now that child sites feed to the parent site, XenForo pulls each story twice.

Can the registered feeds be defeat based on WordPress category and/or tag?

XF's feed system has duplicate checking, but it is per feed. The duplicate entries over multiple feeds probably have different guids anyways, so it is not possible for XF to handle this without analyzing the content. You can go that route, but that requires custom development. You can post a request:

You may want to reorganize your network of feeds instead.
