XF 2.2 redirect page problem?

Will you take action about the redirect page problem? Many URLs are not indexed for this reason, Google sees this as an error and many xenforo users experience this problem.

unavoidable tbh. and these are not really errors. just informative data. you should be focused on submitted pages and not known pages.



You cannot really control all known pages data. Without redirections, a lot of things become complicated on complicated projects like forums where posts are moved from one thread to another and so on.

Surely if pages are redirected, there is no reason for them to be indexed?

google would show all public links in the search console. even 404 links that do not exist. you can try blocking these links through robots.txt even that won't stop google from listing these links if they are posted outside your website. based on screenshot above... he could try adding something like Disallow: /konular/*/post-* in his robots file. (Do it only if you understand what it does! But it seems safe and accurate to me). But as discussed here, it might be pointless in the end.

Be aware doing this...

Disallow: /community/posts/

will have no effect on urls like...
/threads/168834/#post-518139

you would need to add this line to robots.txt...

Disallow: *#post-*
