XF 1.4 Quotes in quote + message history in reply page

Hello

Two questions related to threads and messages :

1 : is there any way to display previous thread messages in the Message reply page (when you click on "more options") ? Currently if you need more options (poll, preview, etc.) and go on this page, you can't see anymore the other messages and have to go back if you have a doubt or something on what others have said.

2 : is there any way to keep quotes that were present in the messages you are currently quoting so that readers have the full history ?

Both of those would require custom development, there are no options related to them.

For 2) there is an add-on for that if I am not mistaken.

For 1) I haven't found an add-on yet. Was looking for the same thing. (Maybe you can like this so this gets built-in someday)

This was a vbulletin feature and my users will definitely miss it !
I found though a way to work around the problem at least for the preview feature with this add-on (have not tested yet on XF1.4) :

Yes, this is the closest thing but actually not the same thing. But I use it, too.

I don't use it but from what I see it works with 1,4.
You can enable/disable nested quoting, and make other adjustments (like displaying avatar or not).
