Quitting smoking with these bad boys

Feels like cheating, I'm 5 hours in without a cigarette so far. I'm a heavy smoker and these really do satisfy the urge. Anyone else tried them, I got a Menthol Starter pack.

Indeed,

Its also great to be able to be sat in the middle of a pub / restraunt / casino etc and have a puff if you need a quick fix, people usually instantly jump on you like "YOU CANT SMOKE IN HERE" but yes you can ;)

I also recently quit after smoking for 15 years or so. Off the smokes for 2 months now.
Once you realize you are better off without the smokes I find it quite easy to keep yourself clean :)

I'm in a training session tomorrow, looking forward to stiring it up a bit. Seems a bit harsher on the back of the throat compared to a tobacco cigarette but I expect that to fully pass in a few days.

Guy selling them says there's another product line being launched in January, the new ecigs will be the same size as an actual cigarette. The trade off being the battery won't last anytime at all.

I found the harshness was found by certain types refil, you mentioned you were on menthol? Try switching in a standard refil.

I always tell everyone I've never smoked but I've been a second-hand smoker for 40 years. My dad & brother smoked as does my wife.

What do they do?

I quit almost 4 years ago, I used the Nicotine Lozenges, which really helped me get over the first stage.. now I can't even imagine smoking!

I wish you every success, and am glad you have found something that really works for you!

9 hours in now, haven't been climbing the walls. The only odd thing is that when I do get a craving I instantly think about having a roll-up, then I remember I'm on an ecig and I get a split second downer. Of course as soon as I actually start dragging on the thing I feel great, still just getting used to it. :)

I've been smoking menthol roll-ups for about 2 years now, I don't like the taste of tobacco or normal cigarettes at all. I think you might be onto something with the refills though as it was as far as I can tell a budget starter kit, I'm going to buy some after-market menthol ejuice soon, perhaps that'll be better?

The plain refills have no taste ;)

Ahhh thanks.

Weird.

I tried these when I was giving up... http://www.nicorette.com.au/product-range/inhaler/ but I found it too much like smoking, in that there was too much similarity for me to the actual process of smoking, so I switched to the lozenges which you suck, which gave the hit, but got me out of the habit of using my hand to bring something up to my mouth as you do with smoking. There is a woman up the road who I know who gave up 5 years ago, but still uses that inhaler LOL I think she just switched addictions.. but at least it is a "cleaner" form of nicotine.

But whatever gets you there I say!!! If this electric one works, then keep using it until you no longer need it.
