Questions on xenForo Wordpress Plugin

Hey guys,

I haven't used xenForo before but options wise it looks like a great forum that will work great for us.

I just had a few questions before I actually went forward and brought the plugin.

1. How easy is it to set up.
Is there any documentation anywhere on how to set this up on a word press site? If not would someone be able to quickly walk me through it in a list of steps?

2. Will this work in any theme?
Can this plugin work with any theme, or does it need to be this theme that is used in the live demo: https://demo.themehouse.com/xlink/wp/

Thanks guys

You can find the installation documentation on themehouse.com. If you're not comfortable handling errors, we strongly recommend buying the installation package.

It works with any XenForo theme. You're also not obliged to use the XenForo theme on WordPress, but you'll lose some functionality in that case. You will not be able to use a WordPress theme on XenForo in either case.

I too am interested in this.

How does this work? Is this plugin just another wordpress plugin that needs to be purchased?

So basically we install wordpress and then xenforo plugin or is it the other way around.

I am using xenforo 2.1 with the latest wordpress:

Mainpage: https://www.ars-neurochirurgica.com/
Forum: https://www.ars-neurochirurgica.com/community/

I am not using any plugins at all, I simply loaded the xenforo js and css in my wordpress theme. Then I just used the xenforo css classes to style my wordpress site, it's very simple and took me only a few hours to set it up. However the databases are not connected to each other.
