XF 1.4 Question about unconfirmed/banned profiles

Hi,

XenForo by default prevents access to the profiles of unconfirmed/banned users for everyone except privacy-bypassing members. But when a privacy-bypassing member access the profile of an unconfirmed/banned user then he is able to write messages on his profile! Is this as designed or maybe XF is missing a conditional there to prevent profile posts being posted on the profiles of unconfirmed/banned people?
