Pull threads from a particular node

I thought there was a thread discussing pulling the latest threads from a particular node but cannot find the link. Does anyone have the thread bookmarked?

I'm wanting to pull the latest threads from a particular node ID. I believe this would require a join but have not done enough hunting through the XF code ....
