XF 2.0 Public Navigation Category.node_id

See the attached image... I'm trying to show a link only inside certain categories in the public navigation bar. So when you are in a category the link to that category is at the top. However, this template conditional is never evaluating as true. Can I do what I am trying to do, or am I going to need to make a template edit?

Also,

$forum.node_id == 63

works fine in the actual threads list but can’t get it to show on category view.
