Haven't seen that (something to research tomorrow) but to be honest I have a 3rd gen i7K which I have yet to bother overclocking as it is still performing extremely well. I normally upgrade every 4 years so have a while to go.And rumors have it that Broadwell is slipping in its time estimates due to some manufacturing issues with the dies.
Oi, I have devils canyon
You should probably see a doctor about that.Oi, I have devils canyon
I was using an i7 930 2.8ghz, so it was warrantedI meant you shouldn't have to upgrade if you're on a 4670/4770 (which both of my primary Intel machines are).
It's nice to see how much love & work you put into building this rig. Thumbs up!
Oh my god, that is an awesome system....will it be done by year end?

I bet it has more to do with cost than issues. No reason to shift to 14nm if it costs more and their is no real competition in the PC area. Given the price of mobile parts, 14nm is just can't be used if it costs a lot even though there is competition there.
So while things were all in pieces, time for a mini upgrade also because, why not.
First up, swapping the two 290x's for two Titan Blacks
Titan Z not worth the money eh?
Intel can relax considering AMD's always touting a killer chip that falls short. Didn't want to run linting fabric or a fine seam mesh over those inlets, Slavik?
