XF 1.5 Problems with feeder

I have tried to solve how to generate posts from feed with YouTube videos. Here's the original discussion from another forum area.

After a half day of trial and error I've concluded that XenForo feeder makes the posts in such way they can't be processed with addons. They thus deviate from ordinary messages in an awkward way.

Is there is any specific reason for this? Should the feeder really work this way? I'd really like to see a post with embedded YouTube player. Now I have to open the post by feed in editor once and save, then the post is processed by addon and it becomes like an ordinary post by user. Not convenient.

Hi @Mystinen Metsätyömies - unfortunately this appears to be a limitation with the way the Feeder retrieves the HTML (only does basic HTML > BBcode parsing):

Would very likely need custom development to change this behaviour..
