Problem with images after upgrade to 1.1.4

After I upgraded to 1.1.4 images are not displaying properly. Not sure what the issue is. See this screen shot in thread view:

No images display, any idea what is up? How to fix?

Do the avatars still exist in the directory?

Did you overwrite the data and internal_data directories? Don't do that. Most FTP programs will merge the uploaded directory instead of overwrite, but the upgrade package of XenForo excludes those directories to avoid the possibility of an overwrite.

No I did not. Both directories have an old date of last being modified. I have never had an issue like this before. Real stumped

Check the directory and sub directory permissions are correct (0777).

Weird, if I view a thread, and click on where the avatar should display, the user profile comes up and displays the avatar, so the avatars are there, just something is stopping it from displaying everywhere else.

I feel like an idiot, lol, it is sorted. I accidently copied over a .htaccess file to the data folder that denied all, lol,
