XF 1.4 problem of ddos attack because of wordpress

    Hello everyone I have a problem I attacked the attack comes from a query that sending through wordpress and the number of visitors increases to 1600 visitors so the plant forum please I would like to block all his knowledge how I call it my hosts told me that the fault came from the forum and no home that little bit please help me?

    A DDoS attack really needs to be mitigated above the application; the point of a DDoS is to exhaust resources so you need to use as few as possible to block it. As such, at the least, you'd want to block the attacking IPs at the server level. (You can do this in XF as well, but it may be too late to prevent significant load.) Ideally, you may need some level of DDoS protection above that.
