Private Subforum with custom permissions for members

Can you set up a private sub forum and give the users of that forum specific permissions not based on their usergroup? For example, you want user A to have access to the forum for Read Only, User B access to read and post reply's and user C access to read, reply and open threads.

XenForo allows all permissions to be set on a per-user basis, so yes, that is possible.

Thanks Manager Josh. I would not have thought to check their twitter page for an answer.

EDIT: Upon rereading and thinking this still may not be a 100% yes to my question. Setting permissions on a individual basis is one thing, but setting individual permission on a per forum basis is another. Not discrediting your answer but just wondering if it is possible to drill down to the forum level and set specific permissions.
