I see that you can allow/disallow user groups to view a media gallery quite easily. However, I would like to disallow guests from viewing individual media items inside the media gallery, whilst still being able to scroll through and view the gallery as a whole.
Are there any preceding implementations of something like this? Is there an add-on that I should look into?
Update: as a conrete example, I want a guest to be able to see all the video thumbnails in the gallery, but not be able to view an individual video when clicking on one in the gallery.
