Suggestion:

- distinction of "Private Media" vs. "Public Media" number stats
- show correct numbers of "Private Media" and "Pubic Media"

Unlikely, to be honest.

Bear in mind the behaviour is mostly consistent with XenForo and Resource Manager.

It's possible to have a post in a private forum that is counted, or a resource in a private category that is counted. There's no separate counts there, there won't be in the Gallery either.

well, then it is probably a suggestion for "not counting" private stuff since this might be a bit confusing.

Especially when you visually see 3 Albums, but it says "Albums: 4"

Not counting would also be confusing. If I can see a user's album that's only shared with me and a few others, if it's not counted because it's private to only some of us, then it's confusing because I can see 4 albums but only 3 are counted.

So it's no win either way, in which case best to leave as is because it's consistent with counting posts in visible and private forums.
