Prevent when upload files to create folder

Hi.
Is there any way to prevent the system to create folder when we upload files?
Ex.for now the files are uploading on folder /2016/10 the next month will upload to /2016/11 folder.

Am curious if there is any way to keep all files on 1 folder,its more easy to delete old resource versions.You can sort them by name and to delete old versions.

Files aren't sorted by month - they are sorted by ID, with 0-999 being in the first directory, 1000-1999 in the second directory, and so on.

I use add-on to upload all files to storage server through ftp and it creates folders as i mentioned above.
This has to be with the add-on or xenforo system?
