1. is the code for the fully software opensource?

2. if not do you have a developer version where we can make some code changes

3. Can i purchase the extras later if we need them?

1) Yes, once you own a license to the software you get full access to the source code that you can modify as you wish. The license agreement is here: http://xenforo.com/license-agreement/. There's also lots of existing add-ons and tutorials that may help you get started in the Resource Manager.

2) As above.

3) Yes you can purchase extras at a later date. When you purchase an extra, it is valid until the end of your forum license.

Not by the true definition of open source. You cannot freely distribute it.

You can modify the source code of your install to what you need. It's done by lots of folks to tweak it for certain things, but you cannot distribute it.

3. Can i purchase the extras later if we need them?

yes, you can purchase those anytime.
