Fixed plain text editor, cursor position changes by itself

I get all kinds of quirky behaviors with the WYSIWYG, but I think that TinyMCE has been acknowledged to have a few problems so I don't report them. The problem in this thread is in the plain text editor.

Good point, yeah, that's a TinyMCE issue, not really a Xenforo issue.

When copy and pasting text thats bold I've had a similar problem, it keeps wanting to write in bold, also when quoting someone, you press reply that quotes on a message, say you dont want to quote their whole message so you delete a paragraph out by highlighting and deleting, you start writing and it re-appears. Dont ask me to repeat it though as only happens when it feels like it from what I've seen. That was in the WYSIWYG so maybe its related...

I just experienced this problem in the Admin CP when editing the Template HTML for a page node.

This appears to be caused by our elastic text area. It's triggered when flipping the overflow from hidden to auto. This looks like a FF bug, but I'll see if there's a reasonable workaround.

No - this bug report was about a specific issue in the plain text editor.
