XF 1.5 Paypal user upgrades - higher fees than before

I've just started using the Account Upgrades feature on my forum, previously people clicked a PayPal button on my old forum.

The fees for receiving via the Xenforo integration are higher! On $30 they went from $1.47 to $1.62. Does Xenforo get a cut or something?

XenForo has nothing to do how PayPal does its business.

Nope. Its paypal raising the rates for everyone. Its how American companies do business today... Raise the rates then brag about the increased revenue so your stock goes up and the CEO gets his bonus.

Thank you - it's just coincidental timing that the last payment I received then was on the old fee schedule, and the first payment via Xenforo was on the new fee schedule. I hadn't seen any sort of disclosure from Xenforo that any type of affiliate fees, commissions etc would be levied on payments using the integration, so I was scratching my head.
